John and his company have also been commissioned to do monuMental statues such as George Washington's in the Capitol Hill and the famous silver and parcel-gilt "Neptune" epergne made for Fuber is was displayed in the Philadelphia Centennial Exposition in 1876. It now resides in Rhode Island school of Design.
